I'm a Catholic. I was brought up in a devoutly Catholic household. Had I been brought up in a Muslim home, I'd mostly likely be Muslim. However, my parents died when I was young, and that's when I began seriously looking into other religions, and I'm still doing so today. I have chosen to remain Catholic. Had I been Muslim, it's possible that I'd have undergone the same seeking process. Perhaps I would've found Catholicism. But I might've stayed Muslim, or picked one of the many other alternatives out there. It's hard to say.

Well, considering Muslims strongly believe in Jesus and Mary and love them as well...
As a Muslim, if I was born Catholic, then I think I would remain Catholic. I just happened to be born Muslim, and I have strong faith in the religion. But if I happened to be born Catholic, I would probably feel the same about it and be born and die a Catholic.

There's the little matter of baptism that would have been skipped I'm afraid.......along with instruction in the faith, the same as in any organised religion. You're not too clued in on this whole organised religion thing are you??

Everyone was born in the submission of the Lord, that is why you need not baptise, but if you want I will throw some rice around you if it makes you feel better. :)

unlike the Jews, Catholics are not "born" into their religious heritage. if the child that was swapped was not baptized into the faith then they would not be Catholic. a friend is Jewish but it was his father that was Jewish, not his nother and therefore, while he is Jewish by birthrite, he is not Jewish by faith.
