It took 9 years to rebuild Germany and Japan after WWII. It might take that long to stabilize Iraq and Afganistan. Even then it took about 25-30 years before those countries really recovered. I think that's the time frame for Iraq and Afganistan.

While there are many ways to manipulate the numbers a poll comes up with, the easiest is to just keep calling the same left wingers every time. You know what they will say.
I really don't think that most Americans want us to pull out of Iraq now. The job isn't finished.

That's propaganda B.S. Most Americans realize the importance of stabilizing Iraq.

Pulling American troops out of Iraq would not be in the best interest of the United States and Western Europe. Most Americans are trendy and like to be cool, so, if you haven't really thought through the consequences of pulling our troops out of Iraq and want to look cool and trendy, support pulling our troops out.
Then again, don't complain if our oil supply is cut off and you are starving because we can't fuel the trucks that deliver the food to your supermarket and you are freezing for the same reason. If you really think it through rationally, President Bush is 100% right.
