You usually find it on the baking isle with the flour, sugar and shortening, the most common is Hershey's it is in a dark brown can. It makes the best hot chocolate! Serve with marshmallows. It is the source for making most chocolate candy and syrups unless you are eating white chocolate it is also used in many lotions and creams "cocoa butter".
