she was at her older sisters birth of the child and has been with her ever since then. She bought the crib for the child for goodness sake! But, now her other younger sister has moved back to the city (whom is the godparent to older sister 1st baby). this would be the second child baptized by the same sister to the older sister children. So, should she be upset she was not asked , be dissaponted or say nothing?

I can understand that her feelings are hurt. Maybe the mom thought the younger sister needed this more than your girlfriend. Maybe your girlfriend should say in a joking manner that since the younger sister got to baptize the first two, she gets dibs on the rest.
Who baptizes the baby isn't really that big of a deal. Tell your girlfriend to just be the best aunt she can be so she can be the fave!

i think i'd be a bit hurt but i'd let it go. you can't tell someone who to choose as a godparent.
