Yes, I agree with you too. I can't believe anyone would slam Christians and their beliefs, if they took the time to understand what Christianity is and what it stands for.
Christianity is love for all people of all faiths. We are commanded to love God with all of our hearts and to love our enemies as we love ourselves. Why would someone feel threatened by this?
I know not everyone that calls themselves Christian are truly Christian but why be so angry with the entire Christian faith because of it?

I could not agree more. Just because i do not agree with someone does not allow me to judge. By my faith...that is how I believe. I also wish everyone could know the joy of feeling the way I do about God....but we are living in a very diverse world. Do not degrade someone for not believing the same way you do. Sometimes people are rude because they do not fully inderstand something or hear negative stuff on the web, tv, etc. But bad people of faith are like bad police or politicians...you only hear about the bad things a "few" do.....not the incredible things the "many" do.

Nearly.
I put a clear divide between acknowledging and respecting the right of a person to hold a point of view and a belief, and having to respect the belief itself.
And even the first has limits...
Does "freedom of religion" mean we must accept any sincere child sacrificer's right to hold and act on their belief?
I don't think so. At some point, "That is wrong!" becomes unavoidable. And much of the heated debate concerns where that point actually occurs.

Christians are from the People of the Book, just like Jews and Muslims. All of them have their own believes, and they're all free to belief in their own belief. I do agree. No one has any right to criticize any person for what they believe in, even if they aren't from the People of the Book.

You go girl. I am tired of the slamming too. I am really sick of the moronic, infantile questions that some non believers ask. I am starting to think that we are all in middle school by the way the questions are asked and answered. Atheists claim to be so brilliant - Well their q&a's don't prove it.

I agree, but everyone is criticized on here, some more than others. When people resort to name calling they are insulting their own intelligence for lack of something constructive to say. But Christians, welcome the debate, for it is satan who is up against us and when you answer through witnessing for Christ, a seed is planted, whether they deny it or not. God's blessings for you.

I definitely agree, and I feel that everyone has a free choice about what he believes. But, as a Christian, I would love to see them experience the love and fellowship that we have who worship our Lord Jesus.

I think people are free to believe what they want BUT people are never going to stop fighting about religion.
Look, if Christians would leave me the HECK alone and stop telling me I'm going to hell and my friends are evil and blah, blah, blah, I'd have NO problem with Christians. I wouldn't believe in the way they do, but if they left me alone, I'd leave them alone. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
The other religions do not harrass me. Christians do.

The point of a public forum is to discuss and yes challenge. Slaming well yea ok we all do that from time to time.. we are impassioned ..
Frankly sometimes we have a little too much time on our hands ..
We are all here because we like to confront. we like to argue ..and we hope that we will convert others to our way of thinking .. and sometimes we are really asking questions cus we want to know the answers
so I dont think its wrong .. I think it is healthy

I agree, but please remember that most Christan's are the ones who usually start the slamming...at least with me. I don't bash peoples beliefs, I may criticize, BUT I do it in a logical way. Criticize means that your well...critical of something, which means you just look at it closely and scrutinize...BUT most Christians seem it's within their right to bash others just because their book says it's right...so please, if you're gonna say don't do it on one side, PLEASE say not to do it for the other side as well...
-EDIT- Also, please remember the 1st admendment, where we can say whatever we want, if it hurts your feelings, then oh well....same with you guys, you guys say something that hurts our feelings, we can't prosecute you, but I guess you guys can for being "prosecuted" or something...oh well...anyway...thats' my two cents...
