Have I ever thought of it? Only multiple times per day, every day. I'm a seeker by nature. I ask questions. But my faith is very meaningful to me, and I reserve the right to believe in whatever I wish. If I ever hit a point in which I feel that my religion is completely wrong, I'll walk. For now, though, I'm staying.

No, I do not think I might be wrong. I do agree with you that to quote from "Holy" books is not a valid answer. It is matter of faith and faith alone. Can my beliefs be wrong whether I think so or not? Of course. Does it really matter in the great scheme of things whether I am correct? Only to me, and I would never impose my beliefs on another except through my actions. All persons on their own path.
Having said that, The restriction you placed on your question seems to indicate you are closed minded to others views on religion, which kind of places your mindset along the lines of the very people you accuse of not being able to think. I accept I could be wrong about that, but then it is just one possible interpretation.

If there are the different gods accessible, i might probable choose to hearken to from them. evaluate it an open invitation. even though it would be a extraordinarily neat trick to cajole me that those i understand are no longer so. it would be like somebody proving that your ultimate chum replaced right into a robotic or that the solar an extremely complex climate balloon. i will furnish that it must be available. and that i actually can keep in mind what it replaced into like when I did no longer have the point of view that I do now. yet those different circumstances seem as though lack of expertise as a exchange of enlightenment to me. it is likewise well worth asserting that there are people who locate many of the religions to be often nicely suited. diverse ideals for various human beings, diverse visions of an identical diety, multiple dieties, etc. It does not might desire to be the case that purely one is optimal, nonetheless for those that declare exclusivity, they might might desire to be a minimum of in part wrong.

About my religion - No, or else I wouldn't be a Latter-day Saint. I do have many questions quite often though...
About some of the people that practice the same religion - Definite YES! Some L.D.S. are very ignorant and stupid!
But that goes for any religion/belief. Unfortunately, religion doesn't rid people of their stupidity!

You can either believe in your own religion or not. I happen to believe in mine, through faith and prayer. I know mine is true because, I pray and ask for answers and guidance. I feel my Heavenly Father speaks to me through my prayers. There are many religions and many good people. The bible is the word of God. It is all in the way it is interpreted. All Christians are good people, they believe in God, the Bible but, there is only one truth and that has to be the one God has restored upon the earth today. If you are interested, do research.

No, and maybe its best to believe in something that's false then to find out its not - when its too late.
Also, my alternative is evolution. I don't like that. I like believing I was creating By a wonderful Creator than a mere figment of chance.

All the time. Paul even warns Christians against following the rules of man-made religions.
My faith in my savior remains strong. The church I attend is my gateway to worship and fellowship with people who believe as I do. But my religion is flawed because it's man-made.
The only true religion that is pleasing to God is taking care of the orphans and the widows. If you subscribe to the Christian belief, you'll know that we're all orphans since we're born separated from our Father in heaven, and we're all widows because Christ said we are his bride, and since he died on the cross for our sins, we're widowed. (Book of James).

Well i am not religious, but Agnostic. And no they don't want to believe they are wrong about their belief. But why should we bother? As long as they don't force their belief on us, then we're cool. But i do want to beat the snob out of some damned religious zealots.

The only adverse consequence I can see to being wrong about my religion is if one of the heaven-and-hell this-is-the only-way to salvation religions is right about theirs.

everyone could be wrong. and there's no knowing, but really, that doesnt make these questions irrelevant. it's still the pursuit of some sort of knowledge, and this appears to be the last vestige of this sort of pursuit for a lot of people today. so we could all be wrong, but we're using our brains (most of us).
