its is mainly mental, psychological trauma that ive had to withstand, which i think is more damaging and powerfull.

iam native american and french and came to the uk at 6 from france.

im 30 now and now struggle with bpd as a result of the victimization, abuse and trauma.
and i feel like its done permenant damage because i have very low self esteem to.

all this ive being going through since 16, iam now 30.

my big goal now is to immigrate out of the uk....but im depressed because i feel i'll never do it.

i have a long mental health history to.

so alot has happened to me and i feel permenantly damaged by that.
i feel alone in my sufferering like im the only one who has had it this bad.

so can anyone relate, and does anyone think i can overcome all this to go an achieve my goals in life, which is to leave uk and build a new life?

Yeah, I can relate. The trauma you mention is worst if it comes from unexpected sources -- particularly if it comes from those who are "close" to you, you don't expect it to come from them (the two closest people to me did that).

You need three things. First is to put distance between you and the trauma sources, second is having someone who can see you for what you really are and can be and assure, remind, and energize you. Third is to try to see it all from a different perspective; it is said that "what does not kill you will ultimately make you stronger" -- so since you are obviously still alive, you can discover this to be true in your own life. (Put in another way, 'someone tried to kill you, but you survived!')

Being who you are naturally, is simply who you are. Psychological trauma is a sad thing but you and only you only can turn it into a managable and positive thing in your life. There is professional help available and there is self help. Professional help.......I'm sure you know of already but self help, could be a good thing too. I kind of know because of issues that I have. I'm a 42 year old Italian who now lives in the U.S. I am a veteran who suffers psychological trauma from war but I manage it. I have a choice to either roll over in bed and rott away everyday or get up and do the best I can to live my life in the fullest happiest way that I can. Its a choice that I make and one that you can help youself to do as well. Its not easy sometimes but it can be done. Don't limit yourself-you are capable of moving mountains.

You have first, got to look at it for what it REALLY is...a few 'brit's may have done the damage, but that was years ago...and it was only a handful..not all of Britian..but for whatever reason, you are putting the blame on the whole country. I am not saying that to be insensitive to your feelings, but it is merely the truth..you are blaming everyone for what five or six people did to you..and,if you think about it,..the things that happened to you as a little boy, did they happen HERE? or in FRANCE? I think that you must let this go. You need something to fill your mind with, other than thoughts of these culprits...wether it was in France, England, or Timbuckto..it is time to let it go..or they will forever, make you their prisoner...You have one thing (many actually) that they don't, and that is free will, to choose to let them continue to rule your life, or to let it go and say it's time to get on with it...the more you complain, and dwell on it,..the more hateful and angry you are going to be.....Ask God, through Jesus, to help you..and He will answer your prayers, if you just give it all, completely, to the Lord
