In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

Just remember Hebrew poetry parallelism. It is not suggesting the wicked or lost or natural person never thinnks of God, but in his pride he cannot accept God's rule in his life.

I agree with this. I believe the fundamentalist churches of today are proud and are not seeking God's guidance. They are building multi-million dollar compounds in the suburbs, keeping the unwanted out, and their "chosen" ones in. Remember, the Bible says, when you have done it onto the least of these, you have done it unto me. They have not made room for all, so they have not made room for God.

Churches have become political machines, more interested in their candidates and issues, than in God and God's work. Where is the earthly glory in manning a soup kitchen, feeding the hungry, caring for the poor, the orphans the widows. ...these are the things we are commanded to do....but, how many churches are focused more on the things of man, (politics), than of the things of God, (kindly deeds). I believe this all to be a result of pride....pastors wanting the largest, wealthiest churches, etc...

there is also no room for the idea that there is no god. you can't not believe in something and not think about it at the same time. if you do, you're just close minded.
