You do of course realize there were only three angels previous to one man walking into the Vatican with a drawn out hierarchy of angels and presenting to the bishops there right? That man did not claim to be directed there by god and did admit it was just his idea. They liked it so they incorporated it into the bible. And yes, that really is historical.

That is your interpretation. There have been many such events in history which have not led to Armageddon. Are we to ignore that those failed to come about in favour of your interpretation?

If you look at this logically, any set of events could be interpreted in such a way as to imply that the biblical concept of Armageddon could have happened at any time, INCLUDING before jesus was on the scene.

Credit where credit is due: You are learning. Instead of your usual stating of your opinion as if it was indisputable fact, this time you offered your interpretation up as a possibility.

I have attempted to help you understand the Bible but you continue to make earthly observations and then try to match them to the Bible....this is wrong! Look waht God says in Mark 4:10-12...

"And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
11And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
12That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them."

Now lets read down a little further...

"If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
24And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
25For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath."

If you continue in the course you are following, you will go further and further away from the truth. You are giving your own interpretation of the Scriptures rather than following the rules that God has given us concerning Bible study. Again, these rules are: 10 Christ spoke in parables {Mark 4:33, 34}. 2). You have to compare Scripture with Scripture {1 Cor. 2:13}. 3). The Bible is about Jesus {John 5:39}. You have to check the context {Isaiah 28:9, 10}.
