My favorite new recipe is Rachel Ray's 15 minute Paella
Ingredients:
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 pound chorizo, casings removed and diced
3/4 pound chicken cutlets diced
1 fresh bay leaf
4-5 sprigs of fresh thyme
1 medium onion
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
4 cloves garlic, grated or chopped
2 piquillo peppers or 1 roasted red pepper, chopped
1 tsp turmeric
1 envelope saffron powder or a pinch of threads
salt and pepper
2 cups chicken stock
2 cups couscous
1 cup frozen peas
zest of 1 lemon
generous handful of flat leaf parsley, chopped
heat the oil in a deep skillet - make sure you have a tight fitting lid for your pan. Add the chorizo, cook for 1 minute to render some of its fat, then add the chicken, bay leaf, thyme and onion. Cook for 2 minutes to start softening the onions, then add shrimp, red pepper flakes, garlic, piquillo or red peppers, turmeric and saffron and cook until shrimp are just about cooked through, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then add stock. Bring to a boil, about 1 minute, stir in couscous, peas and lemon zest. Cover and turn off heat. Let stand 5 minutes then fluff with fork. Remove bay and thyme stems, sprinkle with chopped parslet and serve.
I have made this several times for my family and its always a hit. I have left out the saffron, only because around here it seems to be so hard to find, and it was still delicious. I've also substitued cooked rice for the couscous for another variation.
Bon Appetite

Try this recipe that I sometime make for my family:
Go out and buy a pack of small baby turkey wings, a bag of egg noodles, can of cream of chicken soup and a can of cream of celery soup, two can of chicken broth.
Put the turkey wing to boil with what ever seasoning you prefer cook until tender to taste, add all of the other ingredients including the noodles, cook until the noddles or tender enough for you do not over cook just until when you taste you get that just right taste and the broth become creamy if not creamy enough add a little corn starch and stir in well. For the side dishes you can have whole kernel corn, sweet peas, or mixed vegetables.
I hope that you enjoy

I made pot roast a while back in the crock pot. It was good and easy. Just cut the roast into 6 pieces. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and brown the pieces of meat on all sides. Put some new potatoes and baby carrots and a large onion peeled and cut into large chunks into the crock pot. Put in one can of beef broth one can of water and two TBSP worstershire sauce in there as well. Put the meat chunks on top. Salt and pepper the whole mess. Then cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Tastes just like grandma used to make.

Orecchiette and Broccoli Crisp
"Orecchiette pasta is combined with broccoli, toasted pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese, then broiled until crisp and golden. Great comfort food!"
INGREDIENTS
* 1 (16 ounce) package orecchiette pasta
* 5 cups bite-size broccoli florets
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 2 tablespoons minced garlic
* 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
* 1/4 cup chicken broth
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 6 tablespoons softened butter
* 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
* 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Lightly butter a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, cook for 8 minutes, then stir in broccoli, and cook 3 minutes more. Drain and return to the pot.
3. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil over medium heat, and stir in the garlic. Cook and stir until the garlic has turned golden-brown, about 3 minutes. Pour in white balsamic vinegar, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then pour over the drained pasta and broccoli. Stir in the butter, pine nuts, and half of the Parmesan cheese, then pour into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
4. Broil in preheated oven until the cheese has crisped and turned golden brown, about 4 minutes.

I think sticking with the traditional meals are great. Sometimes we try to over do it in the kitchen. A really simple meal could be grilled cheese sandwiches (on gourmet bread maybe add some ham and broccoli) and put a bowl of tomato soup with it. It's filling, quick and easy and you have the rest of the evening to enjoy doing what you want to do.

hard to say since i don't know what you're sick of exactly.
here's a new recipe i just learned:
chicken spinach bake:
take boneless chicken breast pieces, season with greek seasoning and then coat with italian bread crumbs. pan fry in olive oil about 4- min. each side till browned.
take a bag of baby spinach and put it in the bottom of a long casserole dish then take a pack of softened cream cheese and work into the spinach. i also add black olives to this.
take your browned chicken and put on top of the spinach mixture. top with sliced tomatoes. season with italian seasoning and little olive oil and balsamic vinegar and more greek seasoning. cover entire dish with a bag of shredded italian cheese and bake till bubbly about 20-25 min.
very good!

These can be cooked in a microwave, or a deep pan on the stove, or in a crockpot.
(these recipes are for a 700w microwave if you use your microwave).
.
1. Savory Pork Chops:
2 or 4 medium pork chops
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
Trim fat, arrange in baking dish in one layer, spread soup over top, cover with microwave cling wrap or a lid, and microwave about 18 minutes or until tender.
.
2. Pork Chop and Apple Roast:
2 or 4 pork chops trimmed
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tart apples, cored
1 large onion
Blend sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmed. Coat chops thoroughly. Stand them upright in a glass loaf pan. Cut apples into slices and the onion into slices. Place one of each between the chops, and the extra apple slices at each end. Cover, microwave 14 to 15 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
.
3. Saucy Chicken (one of our favorites.....can't stop eating it!)
2-1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
1 can (10 oz) golden mushroom soup, or cream of mushroom soup
If you all like mushrooms, you can add 1 can (4 oz) mushrooms, drained to the soup
1 tsp. salt
Arrange chicken skin side up in baking dish. Place the largest pieces toward the outside. Spoon soup over chicken, cover, microwave about 25 minutes. Turn dish occasionally.
.
4. Meat Loaf
1-1/2 lbs ground beef
3/4 lb ground pork
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix (found in a small package usually in the soup section)
1/2 cup V-8 or tomato juice
salt, pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder if you wish
6 soda crackers, crushed
Combine all ingredients. Then press mixture into a loaf pan. Cover, microwave 18 minutes, turning 1/4 turn every five minutes. After ten minutes drain excess juices. If desired, spread catsup over top the last five minutes. Let stand five minutes before serving.
.
5. Ground Beef Stroganoff:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped (you can buy pre chopped onions in a package in the frozen section.....see, I told you I don't like to cook.....ha, ha, ha!)
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (4 oz) mushrooms WITH the juice
1/2 tsp. instant beef bouillon (if you have it)
1 cup (1/2 pt) sour cream or sour half & half (you can now get sour cream in a can!!! Keeps on the kitchen shelf for a long time)
Crumble beef into a 1-1/2 quart casserole. Add onion. Microwave uncovered about 6 minutes (remember this is for a 700w oven). Draim off as much fat as possible. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well, cover, microwave 7 minutes until heated through. Can be serve over rice, or noodles, or toast.

how about Chicken Garden Salad?
Grilled Chicken [marinate with Balsamic Vinegrette Dressing]
and then make a salad with chopped tomatoes, avocados, can of sweet corn, and mix that all in a lemon juice marinade/dressing. or you should go for fettucine alfredo. yummm.
