Start with boxed tea. The leaves are in little bags and are much easier to brew. Boil a cup of water, leave water to cool two minutes after boiling. Drop bag into the tea cup and using a spoon or a little string that are sometimes attached to it, dunk it a couple times a minute. Most teas are done after five minutes. Over time, you'll learn about different kinds of teas and how strong you like them. Basically, the longer you leave the leaves in the water, the stronger it is, vice versa.

How to make a cup of tea
Take 1 tea bag, put it into your cup, pour boiling water slowly over the bag to let it steep, let set until it is the strength that you want, remove tea bag and drink the way that you like it. Some people like milk and sugar in their tea others like it just the way it is. Be sure to serve crumpets or biscuits with your tea that give it an extra flare.

if you mean making a cup of tea...boil some water, put the tea bag in the cup, pour the water in, let the bag sit for a few minutes (the longer you leave it in the stronger the tea will be)...then add sugar or honey if you want it sweet...and milk or half n' half...its really hard to make a bad cup of tea. now coffee on the other hand....
