On Sunday, I posted a question for the atheists about how they kept their sense of humor, in the onslaught of christian questions, about non-belief!
Well, it seems that Yahoo in its questionable wisdom, has removed my question from the boards, for inappropriate content!
My question to you is, can you believe that the powers that be, are so two-faced, when they allow so many hate-filled, and plainly insulting questions, about my former church (LDS), and other churches as well, but turn around and delete my question to you, praising your patience, and sense of humor, regarding christians, and their inability to mind their own business!
What can be so inappropriate about telling people that you love them, because they cheer you up, and make you feel good, when you are down! I swear, I do not understand their ( Y/A) logic! Do you?
Answer quick, because they just might delete this one, too!

Typical bureaucracy...happens all the time...maybe it was the Christians who reported it maybe?

What's appropriate and inappropriate doesn't really seem to be relevant. There clearly isn't any kind of review procedure on the part of Yahoo when it comes to removing material. If someone reports a posting as "abuse", it seems to automatically be removed even if it's nothing more than a "yes" or "no" answer.

If you can't laugh at your self you might as well stay off the computer. I understand that my beliefs are as strange to others as others belief are to me. I think no question or comment of relevance should ever be deleted no matter how much it is reported.I personally ever reported one person and it was a 12 year old trying to learn how to get high off of cough meds in health, that is the only type of reporting I will ever do.

As if Yahoo answers has any clue about what questions get removed or what users have their accounts suspended. Its an automated system, and if enough people were scared about the answers your question might reveal then a few reports and it goes.

it's easy for any half-wit to report a question. but you need to look at it as if you stomped someone.. that they had no answer and could only delete like a child the tips over the checker board just before they lose. but hey, just my opinion.

I would not take it to heart, I try to be very PC in here, and use jokes that are sometimes above the intellect of the people who are prone to get thier knickers in a twist. However, I did get midly personal one night, and I got banned for telling one answerer that her was stealing oxygen, and making such a fool of himself in attempting to answer this particular question, that he should quit now, because IT WAS EMBARRASSING TO BEHOLD LOL, THAT GOT BOUNCED.

LDS, wow, they are great for family history however, how's your tree goinig. :0)

It's not you poppet. It's the fundamentalist believers that have made it necessary for us atheists to actually stand up and say 'enough is enough'. Also, you know you very well you don't love us, it's simply what you've been taught to say.

You as a believer will not condemn fundamentalism. Therefore we have to.

The Yahoo Answers AUP enforcement system, much like God, works in mysterious ways.

I pretty much never report anyone unless they have porn avatars or they're advertising something (spamming). Sorry your question was removed; it wasn't my fault.

I maintain my sense of humor in my responses to many theists' questions.

Well, a person raping another could say "I love you" - are you sure that's a good way to cheer up the person being raped?

TELLING people "I love you" is meaningless. You have to show it in a meaningful way. When I'm married I won't be so pathetically needy as to want my husband to say those words to me every day. I rather get presents or a thoughtful gesture of some sort.
