Read David Crystal's 'Rediscover Grammar' to learn about it fully. To have a knowledge of 'grammar' is to have an understanding of how language works. Most people can hear or read mistakes in grammar, but find it hard to use it precisely at times. The best way to learn is to read 'quality' books in out loud. Only read the ones you enjoy, and try to read with intonation and vigour. It is good fun and will improve your grammar, spelling and broaden your horizons!!

Grammar is the 'roadmap' of how a sentence is constructed, how nouns interact with verbs and adjectives and clauses.

It looks as though you need to do a lot more reading / study. Vocal English as you call it may not be the same as proper spoken English - so beware!

Grammar is basically the rules of a language and sentence construction.

The best way to improve your speech is to read a book out loud, by yourself. Have a dictionary handy to look up any words you don't know.

Grammer is the correct formation of a language. With regards to correct speech, I would say with English it would be very difficult to teach yourself as it is not a phonetic language as for example Spanish is. The only way would be to practise with a native English speaker or go to classes.
