They simply do not look into it, some because of fear and others have no time as they are trying to make themselves happy.

That is actually a good question. When I bring up that I believe in some specialist Gods and Goddesses I get a look and a entire lecture.

Perhaps they feel more comfortable with the "Family Doctor -- General Practitioner" type of God.
I will not say that it doesn't work for THEM, I just prefer to take my problem to a specialist. A dermatologist may be a doctor, but for an operation on my wrist I would still prefer an experienced orthopedic surgeon.
If others never feel the need to "see" a specialist, they should not have to.....

actually, if you read between the lines of the tanach, you can see remnants of the different gods in the different appelations of god, sabbaoth, kana, shadai, elohim etc. imho they were united by the compilers into one entity in order to create the monotheistic faith. it's also easier to have one diety, because you dont have to think and decide which god to worship at what time and for what need, you just sort of use the shotgun effect and integrate all the aspects of the divine into one focal god.
