Pretty much a general rule of life and applies to this question as well, is too much of anything (besides wisdom and even this as well if used improperly) is unhealthy.

Too much of a good thing is a perversion... but it's not necessarily unhealthy. Garlic is good for your heart and it keeps vampires away.

actually, eating a lot of garlic is VERY healthy. It lowers cholesterol, helps fight infection, and it keeps mosquitos from biting. The down side to it is if eaten regularly in large quantity, it causes a very strong body odor and bad breath.

Garlic lowers cholesterol levels and blood pressure and is also very good for sinus problems. It is also an anti bacterial and anti microbial agent.

Too much, of course, gives you a smell problem.

Great for heart and blood, naturally antibacterial. Fairly good preservative. I can't think of a thing that would harm you except as someone already stated, don't eat 100 cloves at a sitting.

It's hot unhealthy, but you should always brush your teeth, inside your cheeks, and your tounge after eating strong flavored foods like that. The inside cheeks can carry bad-breath causing bacteria also. Rinse with an anticeptic mouthwash.
