I am Russian, hope my English isn't too bad.
I understand people's rage against global warming fighters. I also think global warming is good and hope for that. But let's consider two cases:
1) Global warming is mainly man-made. In this case we are already doing enough to help it. Even with our reasonable efforts to conserve energy, we keep helping global warming. And it will gradually increase. Northern territories will be turning more suitable for living. Deserts will be getting damper. Plants primary production will grow. The planet will be turning greener.
2) Global warming is mainly natural. Relax, it doesn't depend on us.

In both cases it's better not to worry much about the subject.

Anyway, don't forget the 2'd Thermodynamics Law. Any our action increases entropy. Therefore support efforts which help to decrease that increase. For example, driving a car with a modern engine, which consumes less fuel for the same power is a good idea. Natural resources are limited, we should use them sparingly. In general, it usually also spares your money. Fight scary initiatives which will definitely increase our overall entropy production. Such as hydrogen fuel cars.

You won't have to after 2009. Various natural causes have been delaying the full effects of global warming and will do so for another two years. After that, Anthropogenic Global Warming will be in full swing.

Susie X, did you read that article in Cosmo or the Presidents reports from his scientists that are paid to deliver false information?

To answer the proposed question (assuming that you are trying to evaluate what your impact is and not trying to deliberately speed up global warming), go to think.mtv.com and climatecrisis.com to evaluate yourself and to find out ways how you can reduce your use, and shrink your carbon footprint.

I read in a magazine last week that scientists are now saying the global warming is now down to a natural process that happens every few thousand years...so it looks like we can relax and drive our 4x4's after all!

Global warming - fly to work.
General temperature - bum your father and go to hell.
Body temperature - drink hot stuff for short term heat and cold stuff for longer heat.
Anything else - a good spit n shine ;)

Reading your profile I see you're the Devil. Could you not just return to the underworld, I'm sure it's hot enough down there, we don't really want the planet to become as hot as Hell.
