I usually ride the bus to and from school and I live 3.1 miles away from my school. Tommorow I want to walk home with my friends instead of riding the bus. Last time I walked home from school it took me nearly 2 hours!! But of course I was walking home with my bf walking at turtle speed. I know my parents won't let me walk home from school tommarow if I ask so I'm planning to do it behind their backs. But I know they'll notice the time difference! It usually only takes 12 to 18 minutes on the bus. so the longest time i can take is 25 minutes. If I'm not home by the time my brother gets home(like 5 to 8 minutes after I usually do) then I'm gonna be in huge trouble! What's the fastest way to travel 3.1 miles in 25 minutes on foot?! (without running of course, cuz I'll pass out)

I don't want to take the bus because ALL of my friends walk home. I don't know anybody on the bus and it gets soooo boring! I want to walk home with all my pals instead of on a bus full of strangers! * Okay so I know most of them but they're you know those people who's name you know but don't ever talk to)

oh and by the way by bf I meant boyfriend not best friend. my friends walk pretty fast. I took my time walking home with him lol. we already broke up anyway.....

It's hard to say if we don't know where you live. 3.1 miles is a pretty long way to walk in 25 minutes, especially if you walk slow. Why not just take the bus?

So you want to walk with your friends but your parents forbid it.
It takes a long time because your friends walk slowly.
I see no solution to your problem.
