1) Jesus was born on December 25th
NO Jesus probably was born in the Spring.
2) Jesus celebrated Christmas! True or false?
NO If it had been His birth day he would have.
3) The early church/disciples celebrated Christmas! True or false?
NO PROOF! I see no evidence of that.
4) Confusing verbage.
God says "Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods!", so YES!!! don't worship none-deities like Mary.
5) Christmas came from Paganism. True or false?
yes A pagan holiday was chosen BECAUSE IT WAS DANGEROUS TO BE CHRISTIAN
(in Japan a Buddha came to represent Jesus because Christianity was too dangerous)
6) I celebrate Christmas! True or false.
yes TRUE
7) I follow the Bible!
yes ,,, do you?
May you find Jesus dear one.
He died for YOUR sins too, that is why the blood sacrifices ended, not the temple (sacrifices began before the temple ever existed)!
My mom was a Jew, and my relatives call God "G_d", so I noticed from your own words where you are coming from.
Christmas is NOT a tenant of Christian faith. It is just a good loving family time! We believe GOD IS LOVE!!!

1) Most likely false. There are 364 other days of the year and some of them (spring and autumn) have a greater probability of being the day.
2)False
3)False
4)True
5)True, and False. Many of the customs have pagan origin. The date 12/25 has pagan significance. The birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God, is purely Christian in origin.
6)I celebrate Jesus' birth every day, including 12/25
7)False. I'm human. I sin. But thank God for his Son and His grace.

1) The Julian calendar was in vogue then so who knows. It´s an arbitrary date anyway.
2)No way, Jose.
3)Doubtful.
4)God says quite clearly that He is first, although He does not state that no other gods exist.
5)Lots of religious festivals came from Paganism but I doubt that this is one of them.
6)True
7)This is much to complex for a simple yes or no. Like most people I try to follow the precepts of the Bible. If only the learned Jews had followed the spirit of Exodus and Leviticus instead of splitting hairs over every silly little thing then their may not have been a need for Christianity.

If you have read the Bible how can you possibly say that the Bible doesn't condemn idol worship. That includes the Virgin Mary, the Crucifix, and any other people that you would pray to besides to God through Jesus.

The Church simply chose December 25th to celebrate the feast of the nativity, Christ's birth. They chose a day in August to celebrate Christ's transformation, and they choose a day in the spring to celebrate Easter every year. None of these dates are claimed to be exactly the date that the associated event happened. They are simply the day that we annually celebrate some part of Christ's life. You are trying to create controversy where none exists.

I celebrate christmas, because I like giving, and receiving gifts, not because I think its the day Jesus (my Lord and Saviour was born). I celebrate the birth of Jesus everyday. I don't believe in paganism- its wrong...but its okay to have a day that a bunch of people celebrate- not for witchcraft reasons. God is a just GOD, i'm sure he won't condemn us for it.
