Nocturnal emissions are A-OK, my canine friend.
It's nocturnal urination (bedwetting) that's a sin.

God gave us sex so that we should freely copulate and so populate the World, and so God is reported to have made Onan die because he chose to spread his seed on barrennes instead of in the young widow of his brother. This may make us feel to have an example of a big sin. It may also be a sin against pure nature, therefore you may feel tired, even prostrated after that.
Addicted onans lack in their eyes and in their face the fresh fiercy glow of healthy life, very much like people of other perverted strands such as prostitutes and homosexuals.
"Wet dreams" may be a healthy discharge, a good remedy by nature to our sexual idleness. Such a remedy may even be freely moderately artificially practised in an atmosphere of dream and fantasy.
It is then up to you to decide whether it is a sin or not a sin!

To adequately answer this question, you must understand that God's laws and decrees are a matter of the heart. The external appearance of obedience to the law is not enough, as Jesus went into length in the sermon on the mount:
Look at Matthew 5:27-30:
You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
And in the same sermon, Jesus talks about certain types of "anger" (in the heart) as sinful, just as killing is sinful.
It is a matter of the heart.
So, you can see from Matthew 5:27-30 that lusting is sinful, just as adultery and fornication. And a person is lusting for another when masturbating...so this is sinful.
But what about wet dreams, you ask...?
As if to say, "I had no part in this...and have no control over my dreams, so is this still a sin?"
In other words, if you have no control over yourself...and do something...is it still considered a sin?
I answer:
You are missing the whole point and the main message of Christianity, which is called the "Gospel".
Whether or not you go to heaven is NOT dependent upon how "good" you are...or how "sin free" you are in and of yourself. If it were, your question would be extremely important! If I have had a wet dream...and to have a wet dream is a sin...does that mean I am a sinner doomed for hell?
The bottom line is: it doesn't matter whether having a wet dream or not is sinful. Even if it is not, you are STILL a sinner doomed for hell.
...EXCEPT ("good news"..."Gospel"):
God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
=
The wet dream is a PERFECT example of our fallen nature. By nature, we are sinners. We are not sinners because we sin. We sin because we are sinners. It is our nature. This is why sin "feels so good"...or why sin "is so much fun"...or why sin "seems out of our control".
The Bible boldly proclaims the truth that sinners are SLAVES to sin. For instance...try not to have a lustful thought...and see if you are able to go a week...or even a day without one. A sinner is a slave to his sin. They are sinners by nature, and only by a CHANGE of nature by grace through faith in Christ is there any hope of freedom and deliverance from the penalty, power, and presence of sin.
The penalty is taken away in Justification, the power during Sanctification, and the presence in Glorification (in Heaven).
Let's put it this way:
THERE WILL BE NO WET DREAMS IN HEAVEN.

God bless!

Your premise is wrong. Neither nocturnal emissions nor masturbation are considered sins, except perhaps, when one is looking at a woman/man (or picture of same) with lust in one's eye.
Many people believe the sin of Onan was masturbation (actually closer to coitus interruptus); but Onan's sin was disobedience of the order given to him by his father, Judah. (you can read the story in Gen., Chapt.38)

Hi....
Oh, so my last answer, to one of your questions, did get you thinking about mastrurbation then!! ....lol.
I think wet dreams are also classed as sin, a catholic is supposed to repent this at their local church!!
Yes, all these 'natural' functions, even ones that cannot be helped, such as a wet dream, in certain religions are banned!!

Just as well I'm not a christian, then!
Wet dreams are supposed to be involuntary. I can't see what the hang up is anyway, they don't spread STDs or cause unwanted pregnancies.

I wouldnt classify wet dreams as a sin: its involuntary, out of your control. Im not even sure if mastrubation is sinful, LUST certainly is.... but can you mastrubate without lust? I dont know..

A youth asked: “Is masturbation an unforgivable sin?” Masturbation is not mentioned at all in the Bible. The practice was common in the Greek-speaking world during Bible times, and several Greek words were used to describe the practice. But not one of these words is used in the Bible.
Since masturbation is not directly condemned in the Bible, does this mean it is harmless? Absolutely not! Though it is not classed with such gross sins as fornication, masturbation is surely an unclean habit.
Even those not especially concerned with God’s viewpoint feel uneasy about the practice. For instance, Dr. Aaron Hass in his survey of the sexual practices of 625 teenagers reported: “The majority of adolescents who masturbated reported feeling guilty, ashamed, dirty, stupid, embarrassed, or abnormal.” Surely, masturbation is an unclean habit. But since “uncleanness,” according to the Bible, is a term that allows for a wide range of degree of seriousness, masturbation is not to be classed with such serious sins as fornication or other types of gross sexual immorality. Ephesians 4:19.
The Scriptures counsel: “Deaden, therefore, your body members that are upon the earth as respects fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite, hurtful desire, and covetousness.” (Colossians 3:5) Is one who practices masturbation ‘deadening his body members as respects sexual appetite’? On the contrary, he is stimulating the sexual appetite. The Bible urges that one avoid the thinking and conduct that lead to such problems, replacing them with wholesome activity, and that one cultivate self-control. When earnest effort is put forth to do this, such self-abuse can be avoided, with benefits mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Masturbation also instills certain attitudes that are mentally corrupting. When masturbating, a person is immersed in his or her own bodily sensations, totally self-centered. Sex becomes separated from love and is relegated to a reflex that releases tension. But God intended that sexual desires be satisfied in sexual relations, an expression of love between a man and his wife. .
