No, she's not immature. She's a kid doing kid things cause that's when you're supposed to act like a kid! Good for her. Encourage her and let her do these things because soon enough she'll be in board meetings daydreaming about how she used to have it good when she was a kid...at the top of a tree looking down on the world.

No, she is not immature at all. I still enjoy climbing trees and I'm 18. I have plenty of friends 2-4 years younger than me. I'm not immature at all. Lots of people have jobs that require being good tree-climbers.

Maybe she just likes being outdoors?

Just because she hangs out with kids younger than her doesn't mean she's immature. I'm 16 (11th grade) and I hang out with 7th graders.

But she does need friends her own age. Try to encourage that - invite someone from her class over for dinner, or a sleepover or something.

No, this is great! She is very active and still enjoys excercise. Though her excercise may be in a different form, it is good for her. This could lead to her future profession, perhaps trying to connect to kids through summer camps, or other professions similar to. Let her play. All too often that is taken away from children far too early. You have to remember she is ONLY 13. That is still very young.

even if she is immature which would you rather? Her climbing tree's or out getting pregnant? Let her be. As long as she has a few friends her own age i would not be worried
