If ur guy friend broke up with his gf and it lasted about 3 or 4 months when can another guy (who friends with this guy) ask this girl out or take her somewhere like a dance?

The best thing to do is talk to your friend and find out if he has any feelings regarding you dating his previous girlfriend. He will respect your open minded and honest attitude. If you just start dating her he may not respond in a positive manner and it could damage and cause resentments in your friendship.

That is between the two guys to decide. If they are friends than the second guy should already know whether or not the first dude is over the girl and completely done with her. If he isn't sure how his buddy would truely feel than he should ask him. This way there are no hard feelings and no loss of friendships.

He has to be 110% sure that it won't hurt/affect the friend in any way and it should definitely be more than a month or two. It would be best if he consulted friend and made sure it was ok, too.

first of all if you guys are just friends, hell be friends. but if you guys like each other that nasty. you should never go behind your friends even if they say they don't mind. Somewhere down the line it will come up that you went behind them.

dont do it. trust me its bad, this happen to me not even a month ago. its not a good idea, friends maybe but nothing more. and me and my ex havent been together for over a year.

with a 3 to 4 month relationship, i would say about a month to two months, or sooner if she changes her hairstyle.
