1) How should I dress? Suit or formal pant, shirt, and tie? Would a suit be too much in California? Remove the goatee or is it okay?
2) What types of questions will they ask me? For example, what types of teamwork questions and in technical questions will they just ask me "do you know this?" or will they give me a situation or problem and ask me how to solve it? The position is for a Handset Field Test Engineer-any of you having experience with this type of interview or know anything please give me any suggestions that would help me with my onsite interview. Your help is very much appreciated!!!

You have to dress and be sharper than the most qualified guy out there looking for the job.

Goatee? Get rid of it (but I am an old fart and think that goatees make you look like Shaggy on Scooby-Doo).

But, it could be okay in CA.

They will ask you about your experience. They will ask you about your training.

You pretty much have to sell them on hiring you.

They may give you hypothetical situations to see how you handle problem solving, or they may ask you about some areas where you have had to solve problems on your own.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I gave a thumbs as much as the 1st answer as this is totally precise. I purely jumped in approximately those dreaded "the place to you notice your self in 5 years?" questions. there replaced into some action picture star Trek action picture some Kobyashu attempt or something like that. there replaced into no suitable answer. It replaced into designed as a dropping conflict and the point replaced into to evaluate the undertaking's reaction. as a rule this is meant to make certain approximately an interviewee's inner stability, besides as means to proceed to be composed, coherent, and considerate in his responses.
