I have 3 male dogs who are all fixed but they still mark there territory in the house.

Of course they do it when i'm not around so I can't even discipline them.

I'm not going to leave them outside all the time so don't even waste ur time by answering with that.

Thanks for the help!

Also, how do you make the little heart shapes like DP has?

And...what does IMHO mean?

I don't leave them in the house all day and wouldn't expect them to hold it.
I take better care of my dogs then I do myself and I don't appreciate you assuming that I would leave my dogs in a create for 12 hours or saying that I shouldn't have them at all.

They don't pee in the house as if they were peeing to go to the bathroom, they are potty trained. they pee to mark there territory.

They will usually do it if one of them have been inside and I switch them out.

THERE is these really good pads that you buy in a pack you lay them on the floor show the dogs where there at.

if they pee on the floor rub there nose close and say no and show them the pads tell them what there for.

thats what my trainer did for my dog it work really well.

you can find the pads at any pet store there pretty cheap to :) even walmart sould have them.

hope this help good luck

How long are you leaving them in the house? If they are in there all day while you're at work - you can't expect them to hold their bladders. You don't hold it all day while you're gone, so leaving them inside for so long and expecting them not to go is cruel. Of course, if you are only leaving them inside for an hour, maybe 2, then thats a different story. If you can't leave them outside ( I live in a very hot climate, so I can't leave my dogs outside during the day either) put them in a crate. That is only for the hour or two outing, though - not for all day, that would be very cruel.

So basically, it depends on how long you are leaving them for. If its all day and you can't leave them outside, you shouldn't have them - its cruel to leave them in a crate that long and stupid to expect them to hold their bladder all day. If its only for short periods, put them in crates.

crate the dogs when you aren't home...

it is not unnatural for a dog to stay in a "den" in the wild, so it's a part of their nature (doesn't mean they will like it right away)

my dog was crate trained, and although i don't shut the crate door anymore, but she goes in there and sleeps all the time.. it's her "safe place"

good luck
