I work as a Truck Driver and there's a girl of about 25 who works in the admin dept giving out routes, collection and delivery notes etc, Who every time I go in the office and were alone she's grabbing hold of me and making suggestions like "I'm cold give me a cuddle to get me warm" or "Would you like to see all my piercings?" even when were not within talking distance and she sees me she makes suggestive mouth "actions"

I know all the men on here are going to say I'm daft but how do I let her down gently she recently divorced and I don't want to hurt her feelings. She's a nice girl but I'm not atractted to her sexually, I'm married to a woman I work with and fear if I turn her down and upset her she's going to make things difficult for me and the wife (I haven't told the wife what she's been doing yet)

Anyone help? Thanks,

Andy

You have GOT to sit down with this girl, with a workmate nearby to witness it, and tell her, in the calmest way possible, that you do not want to be involved with her other than in a work sense. You have to spell out to her that you are very happily married and in love with your wife and there is absolutely no future with her. If she starts to get stroppy, or you are worried that you cant talk to her, talk in confidence to your line manager and ask for their advice, even their input alongside you if that will make things easier. I would also talk to your wife as soon as you can and let her know what is going on and that you and a workmate/line manager are going to talk to this woman to try to stop the problem. It sounds like this woman is really unsure of herself and is going over the top to try to make herself appear attractive, when in fact she is really lacking in confidence as a woman.

Tell your wife mate, if she's just divorced her head's probably all over the place and if you try and let her down she may feel rejected all over again and take out her frustrations on you and claim you've been coming on to her and not vise versa.
Make sure your not left alone with her, she sounds sad and lonely, but sad and lonely wont help you when she's claiming you have been harassing her!
Good luck

i would start by telling your wife what has been happening best comin from u then someone else especially if u are working together and then explain to the other woman that u dont feel comfortable with the things she is saying and that u are happily married good luck :)

Tell her straight that your not interested and tell your wife whats been going on that way your wife will be prepared if this lass does try to cause you trouble. Well done for not being tempted to stray-full respect!!

The best way is to just be straight with her.
Don't worry about her reaction.
She knows you're married. Just tell her it is against your beliefs to mess with any woman since you are married.

Tell your wife. Complain to HR about sexual harassment, its your job or hers if you are not careful

Well done.
You earn my respect.
If she's not making anything clear then just ignore her.
When it gets too far just push her away.
