I have no rash, no redness or any visible symptoms...but my hands feet and scalp are itching like crazy. I just walked bare foot outside and my feet started itching so bad that it was more like a burning sensation. I have never had any allergies and don't have a stuffy nose, congestion, etc. Does anyone know what this could be?

It could be the product that who ever cleaned your shower with, especially bleach will have this effect. Or, your carpet, some people have reactions to those scented powders that people use to freshen your carpets. One more, do you or your spouse use febreeze on any bedding or carpeting? That could be it. It has been proven that these chemicals can kill a pet, so therefore should not be used on bedding, carpet, baby items, pet bedding.........and so on

could be exzema, or contact dermatitis. or an allergic reaction to something on the ground even. my daughter since when little has not been able to go outside barefoot. because she is allergic to where the cats have been at and cats in general. it also causes her to get yellow bump places on her head which is a fungus and can cause brain damage. we didn't even have a cat but our neighbor did and it would come into our yard. shes just not allowed out barefoot or where they are. it could also be a sign you are allergic to a new soap or shampoo or detergent, and it itching can also be a sign of diabetes. if it persists you need to get it checked out.

It could be the soap you are using to bathe. If it is something new or one of those body washes, you may be having a reaction. Try ivory soap for a while and see if it eases up.

See your Dr immediately, and in the mean time use some Hortizone cream to stop the itch.

God Bless and I hope you feel better

If you're on city water, they may have added too much chlorine. If it persists, they sell chlorine shower filters on the web.
