I have noticed, due to scientific investigation of course, that my finger fits very snugly up my own hooter yet when I have tried to shove it up my husbands nose (apart from getting a slap) it does not fit at all! surely we are meant to pick our noses? what did we do before Kleenex? See for yourself by doing my little scientific experiment, perhaps on the train, bus or even in your local shopping centre! see if your finger fits up anyone elses nose? I bet it's not as snug as your own.

What, are you saying we should only pick OTHER people's noses? Ewwww.
What did people do before facial tissues? They used handkerchiefs - some people still do. Before that they used their sleeve, or they just expelled the mucus into the street.
One does not perform such activities in public because it looks unseemly and disgusting.

You have too much time on your hands. Seriously though, nobody says you cannot pick your nose. The key here is to do it privately when nobody else is watching.
