Because he is a Father. What makes him a father? Children. That is who we are, children, sons & daughters of God.
Psalm 82:6
.....and all of you are children of the most High...
Why do we create children? Because we want to teach them, help them, love them, see them succeed and even to excel our own achievements. God is perfect so he wants all this for his children, only being perfect, he wants us to be like him.

To think God would mindfully create people is a pretty shallow view of God. I prefer to think that she set up the environment for life and we evolved to what we are. I think that is pretty impressive.

People are a great energy source. They are docile and easy to control as long as they take their blue pills. God loves to play with his people writing all sorts of fun and exciting programs to test their love of Him. One of His most popular programs is the devastating earthquake program that causes lots of death and destruction. It is also a good way to recycle. Never question God's plan for mankind as that will lead to evil thinking that this is just some sort of virtual reality and you are stuck inside some sort of matrix that you have to escape from. We all know that is nonsense and that no one can prove the existence of such nonsense.
Trust God with all your heart and you will be saved.

Well assuming momentarily there ever was a god, I'd say he was just bored one day. Why buy a puppy to follow you around and watch get into crazy antics when you could make a bunch of people?

Because peoples' ego demanded ever to invent a God that will invent them,in order to feel 'Special'.
Not for the invention to feel it,because not real things can feel the same(or anything for that matter). But some swear their cars (or pets),as well get loving,happy,fast,angry...or mean machines. Some even talk, dialogue with them

I'm really not sure. We're so ignorant and petty compared to him... yet people still say he made us to have a relationship with him... I'm thinking... HELLO? Its like a scientist trying to have a meaningful relationship with the bacteria he's cultivating.

I'm agnostic, but have always thought if there was a creator, that this is just a big universal experiment.
