I'm honestly not offended by a "Merry Christmas". Why are you so offended by a "Happy Holidays"? You DO realize there are other holidays in December right? This whole "War on Christmas" crud just makes you Christians look like snotty brats who don't want to share. Grow up.
Oh, and regarding the ACLU--isn't it interesting to note that Republican, Christian senator Larry Craig ran crying to the ACLU to get his job back after that little men's room incident?

Oh, well, that's so clever, I hardly know how to respond.

To be honest, I am rarely offended. It takes quite a lot to offend me, and when it happens, I tell them off or walk away. No need to involve the ACLU. Or any other crutch for that matter.

Merry Christmas to you too, I guess? You do know it's only September, right?

The same number of Fundamentalist that have the NRA on auto-dial. We set it up that way to keep the data files in the different programs balanced. Take your blue pill.

Also, Happy Easter.

I am not offended by "merry christmas" or anything else I experience on a day to day basis. What are you smoking?

LOL. We're not offended by EVERYTHING... that's a sweeping overgeneralization. For my own part, the things that offend me are pretty much limited to gullibility, irrationality, willful ignorance, self-delusion, intellectual dishonesty, hypocrisy and drooling stupidity. I find it to be a matter of great convenience that christianity encapsulates ALL of those things... it permits me to confront them with greater efficiency than might otherwise be possible.

Also... I should take this opportunity to acknowledge the great debt of gratitude that I have toward people like you. If you did not keep posting questions... I probably should say 'feeding us straight-lines'... we would have nothing to respond to. Thank you for playing.

"[Christians...] claim that they are being persecuted because they are not allowed to force me to practice what they do." ~ D. Dale Gulledge

"The god who is reputed to have created fleas to keep dogs from moping over their situation must also have created fundamentalists to keep rationalists from getting flabby.  Let us be duly thankful for our blessings." ~ Garrett Hardin

Whereever do you get that atheists are offended by everything?
We're not the one's offended by homosexual relationships,
or seeing a female's nipple on TV?

As the old song says
'before you accuse me,
take a look at yourself'.

Happy Ramadan.

I can't top matt's answer so I'll just cosign.

and the answer is probably about the same as the percentage of religious people that have them on speed dial.

and a merry mithrasmas to you as well. I have no ties with the ACLU. Since they defend freedoms guaranteed by the constitution, even unsavory ones, I'd have to applaud them.
