a general for dogs is that they come into heat every 6 mnths rather bred or not. of course some come in earlier and others later. Again as many have said for teh dogs health you shouldn't let her have another letter until either the second or third heat after this litter. On the other hand if you are wanting to get her spayed when the pups are 6 weeks old I usually make an appointment for 3-4 weeks later by this time the pups should be weaned and in new homes already.

She can come into heat 4 months after whelping. So about 6 months after the last litter, she can have another. However, this is overbreeding, a female should have no more then one litter a year. They need a chance to recoup, having a litter takes a lot out of them.

They seem to come into season again approx 6 months from the time they were in season and were bred. Not all, they can be a little different.. NOT at all good to breed them again the next heat. Healthwise for one thing, and you need to give that first litter time to grow up and see how they are turning out before you want to breed her again.. If you are wondering so you know when she can be spayed before she comes into heat again.. Once she weans the puppies and is getting back into good shape, you can take her in to be spayed.

Each dog is different. Some cycle once a year and others every 6 months. If they cycle every 6 months they will go back in heat between 5 and 7 months after having a litter of pups.

If you care anything about your female, you will not breed her the next heat cycle. Once a year at the most. Anything else is abusive to your female.

immediatly or up to a month..depends on the dog...our went into heat after she was done nursing but i know of friends whos dogs went into heat and got pregnant a couple days after giving birth..but its hard on a dog...if you breed your dog every time she goes into heat she will die from stress at an early age...i knew a lady who did this with a dalmation and it died after giving birth...i breed pitbulls..however i think the last litter will be her last...(its sad seeing the stray dogs nobody wants and im not helping the situation)....we let her have one litter of puppies in the summer...she had her second litter 12 weeks ago...she goes into heat about every four-six month and then she goes into heat after she has the puppies...we keep the male separate from her during this time to ensure she doesn't get pregnant again....its very stressful on a dog and i love pitbulls dearly but i can't wait to get them fixed but being she just had a litter we are gonna let her go through one normal heat without getting prenant before taking her into get fixed...

You should never breed more than every other heat cycle, and even less is better. Even better than that is spaying the female.

6 to 9 weeks after whelping but you should not breed again and a year after the whelping date. Breeding and whelping takes a lot out of the female

Depends on if the owner is irresponsible enough to find out.
