Joyce Meyer has blessed me alot. She has a wonderful ministry. She told me to be confident because insecure people are hard to deal with and she said that our spirits should always be light and free so we can be free to handle life's adversities. She says you have to let your cares go and practice the warfare of rest cuz that causes God to act. She said that if you seek God's prescence, that is where real joy comes from. And much much more...................

She also taught me to speak the word over any problem situation and that activates your faith and causes the power of God to move in that circumstance.

1 Corinthians 14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
1 Corinthians 14:35
And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1 Timothy 2:12
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

From http://www.trinityfi.org/press/JoyceMeyer1.html:
"Joyce Meyer says God has made her rich.
Everything she has came from Him: the $10 million corporate jet, her husband's $107,000 silver-gray Mercedes sedan, her $2 million home and houses worth another $2 million for her four children — all blessings, she says, straight from the hand of God.
It's been an amazing run, nothing short of a miracle, says Meyer, a one-time bookkeeper who heads one of the world's largest television ministries. Her Life in the Word organization expects to take in $95 million this year.
Just look around, she told reporters last month from behind her desk on the third floor of the ministry's corporate offices in Jefferson County.
"Here I am, an ex-housewife from Fenton, with a 12th-grade education," she said. "How could anybody look at this and see anything other than God?""
WOW. Yeah, I know she must donate a lot of money and stuff, but seriously, living that kind of lifestyle is not a good representation of Christianity. Not that Christians shouldn't have money, but that much money can be used for MUCH BETTER causes, like, I dunno, feeding hungry people and such.
I can look at her and say that people made her rich because of what she says about God, God didn't make her rich.
So I have some problems with her.

I think she is a very funny, dynamic speaker who does a great job addressing the every day practicalities. While I am not particular to the Pentocostal Church, as a female ministry, I think she's tops.
I wish she would expand beyond only the Bible and Pentocostal to embrace a wider view, but even so, she's a wonderful Faith child of God.
Her ministry has grown exponentially and her products abound. Let's hope she stays on the right track with all that money.

Yes, she has helped me understand a lot of things I was going through.
One time, when I was desperately in need of help, I sent her a letter asking her some questions and she sent me her tape series on LOVE she sent it to me FREE OF CHARGE.
This is how I knew she was a woman of GOD. She has never sent me anything asking for money. This is how I know she does trust in GOD .

She is my friend's aunt and relative of famed bassist Edgar Meyer. You probably have a higher opinion of her than I. She would not attend my friend's wedding because it was in a Lutheran church instead of her own which denies the Trinity and other central doctrines. She is spiteful to Lutherans (and all denominations) because they would not ordain her. Of course my friend attended Meyer's son's lavish wedding, with no complaint.
Watch this woman on TV, she is angry and dogmatic. Know her in person, she is angry and dogmatic.

I love her,she is a great motivator and I have come from some of the same place, same issues as she did throughout my life and she is an inspiration, however not my main daily bread (food for the soul) that comes from strict biblical training and another pastor....

She is an encourager. I have enjoyed many of her books and while on summer vacation I read her new novel, "The Penny". . .it is a very good read as well. I think it is a real gift to be able to motivate, encourage and up lift others through sharing of your own trials and failures. . . .regardless of religion that is something we all should do . .. build each other up. ;)
