I've only left 2 years of my lifespan due to a bone marrow disease though. If you were me, how will you spend the remainder of your lives though?

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

Blessings, my dear. You are aware, I'm sure, that all we humans are in the same boat. Our Dr may not have set up a time limit for us, but none of us really know how much longer we have to live. Certainly not me, because while my overall health is good I'm almost 69 years old. When I was younger it seemed as though I had forever, but now of course I know better. So given that like everyone else I am just a flash in the pan, I do my best on a daily basis to be kind, helpful, and supportive to all I meet. My family are at a distance so I keep in contact with them via phone calls and the Internet. My companions here at home are 2 loving cats, and I hope to get another one. I get out every day as I can, see friends and neighbors, and keep in touch with my Dr if necessary. I just take life as it comes, one day at a time, and strive to see the good side of a situation. When bad news comes on the TV, I have to shut it off, because I don't need to be depressed. Finally, I uplift the people and advantages in my life, all the way from heat and running water, to my helpful pharmacist and neighbors, to the maintenance people for this apartment. Every day I try to learn a little something which includes a new point of view. Most of all, I strive to take nothing for granted, and to maintain an attitude of gratitude. Here's hoping that these words will help you a bit, and I send a big hug to you wherever you are.God bless and keep you in loving arms.

I would give my life to Christ and be ready to go when the 2 years are up. for encouragement listen to ttb.org. If I only had 2 years, I would go see the people I care about, spend sometime enjoying what I had not seen, Like the Colorado Mountains, and try to help others. I would also get asecond opinion about the fatality of the bone disease, and investigate natural or vitamin based cures, and see if you can lengthen your life.

Only God knows how long you will truly be here so don't give up on the fact that you could be here longer. That being said take your medicine, listen to the Drs, and concentrate on your faith. Also be certain to enjoy your life and do everything that you can do and always wanted to do. I would go places I've always wanted to go, spend time with loved ones, try new things. In other words enjoy what time you have to the fullest. May God bless you. I will keep you in my thoughts.

I don't know the circumstances of your life besides a few hints about your fatal disease. One thing to do is to maintain your life as a person and not let others (and yourself) look at you as your disease. I've given up predicting who will die when. You may have less than two years or more than two years, we are all in that same position as no one is promised tomorrow. Something that you might want to do if the rest of your life allows is to get involved in the early diagnosis of your disease and charitable work that will promote research as to its cause and treatment. Best of luck to you..

I haven't got much to add to the previous contributors except to wish you every happiness in the time that you have left.
None of us know what is 'round the next corner'. How many of us who are reading this will still be alive in 2 years time.? Probability tells us that most of us only have so long to enjoy this world. My cousin's daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 13 and died at 19. There's always someone who's better off than you and someone who is much worse off. I know these are only words but I hope that somehow you can see your way to finding as much fulfillment as possible. Indulge yourself !! Fly free.
With love and concern. 'aussieguy'.

Four years ago, I believed I would not last six months. Six months ago, I was told I will NOT die from the cancer that was to have killed me. The cancer DID metasticize. But now it's gone? Oh...it's here to stay? But now it's not? Hmmmm...

The doctors are telling you that you have about 2 years left on your lifespan? Well, guess what? GOD has the last word! (I absolutely LOVED when I heard that...and it's so true!)

What I did was make myself available to God every day so that I can help another one of his "kids" (people like you and me). Our experiences make us uniquely qualified to help certain people more so than others. Make yourself available to them. Let God use you as a tool. There's nothing that feels better than that....whether you're dying or not.

Well, to start with I would not start ticking the days off of the calender.

Lance Armstrong was told that his cancer was terminal. He went on to win he Tour de France for more consecutive years than anyone in history. He is currently runs the "Live Strong" foundation.

Live your best every day!
