I agree with you on that point......

Democrats do NOT agree with what we preach & teach.
They are pro-choice (pro-death).....they agree with same-sex marriage........they wish churches could be taxed but yet....cry "separation clause" at other times.

But your answer either got moved by the Yahoo police or deleted.

I looked at your homepage on answers.yahoo.com, and so no indication of an erased question. Perhaps you pressed the wrong button, or your computer weirded out on you. Why not try again.

[Addedum: my mistake--you meant a deleted answer, not a question. Maybe your answer contained insulting words. But another answerer to this question said that the questioner deleted his/her question, so your answer would have been deleted along with the question.]

BTW, I'm a Christian, and I could never be a Republican! I'm not saying that Republicans can't be real Christians; I'm saying that the Republican party and much of the Christian church has been hijacked by hypocrites whom I'd compare to the first-century Pharisees: hating the poor and the different, proud of their superior position in society, shutting the Kingdom of Heaven in people's faces. I say that the Body of Christ has both a right and a left side (compare to 1 Corinthians 12), and that Jesus is neither a Democrat nor a Republican. (P.S. Jesus rode a donkey!)

It's not a sin for the government to help the poor: Romans 13 says that the government is there "to do you good".

Yes, abortion and homosexuality are sins, but so are racism, exploiting the poor, causing unjust wars, and destroying the earth.

Right now, I'm probably as offensive to you as Jesus was to the first-century Pharisees.

Sorry to get all political on you. To love God and to love your neighbor as yourself are the most important things. God bless you much!

The person who asked the question deleted it before you were able to submit your answer.

I'm a Christian AND a Democrat. Christians don't invade other countries on false pretext.

Christians aren't liars and hypocrites. They care for the poor and not fat cat corporate welfare.

Christians are required to pray and make reparation for the sins of others and not DEMAND that the laws be changed to suit them as in abortion.

Christians seek the TRUTH; not Fox News propaganda.

Anyone who supports the Republican party is no Christian.

I need to disagree here...Jesus doesn't care what political party you belong to. And last time I checked, he didn't subscribe to any political beliefs of his time either.

Sure, abortion is a bad thing, but tell me why it's the government's problem to intervene in a difficult decision that a woman has to face.

I'm pretty sure that Jesus would have forgiven the person who had an abortion and simply asked that person to sin no more. He didn't form a picket line, a PAC, or donate money to a cause he thought was "just". He just loved, unconditionally, and let his father do the judging.

Give to Caesar what belongs to him, and give to God what is his.

I recommend anybody who reads this to read a book called Searching for God Knows What by Don Miller. He's got an interesting take on politics and religion, among other topics.

I am a Christian and not a democrat, if fact I'm very conservative politically. But, one of my favorite pastors was a definitive liberal democrat. I think you are complete wrong in assuming that. In some ways democratic ideals should foster in all of us... we should take care of the "least of these" in society. The government should look out for poverty and disabilities. I just don't think the world works that way personally. Social programs never seem to work.

Cause that's an opinion. Not a question. You're looking for anyone to agree with you, instead of looking for an acutal answer. Violates community guidelines.

:) Plus I think that's kind of an idiotic statement.

Are you sure that's all you said? Otherwise the person that deleted your question must be a loony left-winger.
