A leave in conditioner works well. I have the same problem. I was also told by a hairstylist that you can take a small amount of your conditoner (and not rinse it out) and put it in your hair and it will stop that. She does it, BUT I have never tried it. Guess you could try, wouldn't hurt. Also an Anti frizz control gel would help too.

Keep hand lotion with you at all times. Put a little dot in your hand, rub your hands together and then run your hands through your hair. Stops static immediately.

rub a fabric softener sheet on your hair brush, and smooth your hair down with the fabric softener sheet. it really works.
