Loratab contains Tylenol (or acetaminophen) and Hydrocodone. Hydrocordone (which is an orally active narcotic analgesic and antitussive) is a semi-synthetic opioid derived from two of the naturally occurring opiates - Codeine and Thebaine.

If I remember correctly Lortab is Loratidine, which is an antihistamine and while it is supposed to be less sedating than some other medications, any anti-histamine can cause sedation.
