Everything in you house thst is pluged in? or just certain items

typically things that have a transformer on them. a lamp doesn't draw power when it is off but a cell phone charger draws power even when it just sitting there plugged in to the wall. a stereo typically draws power because it requires a transformer to power components inside it. same with a TV, a computer monitor while in standby still draws power because it is technically on its just waiting for the wake up signal from the computer.

Unplug things that have a "standby" mode like TV sets, Hi-fis and any appliances with remote controls, gadgets that run on low voltage and have a transformer that plugs into the wall outlet.

Not lights and toasters, and definitely not the fridge or freezer!

anything that has a transformer to supply power ie: cell phone chargers, wall chargers for ipods etc.
