As of September 12th there 95, 563 National Guard and Reserve personnel on active duty. The Army accounts for 76,532 (including National Guard), the Air Force 7,528 (including Air National Guard), Navy 5,574, Marine Corps 5,890 and Coast Guard 309.

I Don't know how many were actually returned to duty, but when my brother was called up during Gulf War I, he said the Tent City went to the horizon at Ft. Lenard wood MO!
