Yes u can get a body perm, however u must b aware that depending on the type of hair u have, a body perm may not last as long as a tight wave, therefore u may have to get a new one more often. Body perms are wonderful, as a stylist a lot of my clients are asking for them now, just be sure u are willing to maintenance it when necessary talk to your stylist let them know, not just what u want but how long your willing to spend styling as well as how often your willing to come back for upkeep. If you do all of these things you should be fine.

I really think that depends on you, if you have more of a sporty and casual style then i would go for the loose curls. And if your style is fancy then i would say tight curls. I also think i matters when your prom is, if it is in the summer then i would say loose curls, to get the beachy look. But if it is in the winter then i would say tight curls or put your hair up. It also matters what type of dress you have, if it is more of a casual short dress then loose curls would be the way to go! Or if you dress is long and formal, the tight curls! it really depends on you and what you want to look like on your prom!

Yes, I just permed my hair at home a couple of weeks ago and perm it on a regular basis. I purchased the biggest rods you can for home perms and have had them for years. I go to Fred Meyers to buy the solution for perms. Depending on my mood, I'll leave them in only for 15 minutes if I want a nice wave and 25 minutes if I want more of a spiral curl. I'm Asian so I have stick straight hair so I like getting perms to add more body to my hair. It makes it much easier for me to style my hair.

well if you have very long thick natural curly hair then no. because your hair will be too heavy for the loose curls to hold. when i got a perm it was veryyyy tight and i hated it. good luck with it.

oh and it took over 5 hours to do my perm my neck was hurting bad. i will never do it again.

Try searching"body wave'. I think thats what your after. i do know perms can be done using various size curling rods,..just depends on how tight you want the curl...But if its a really loose wave you want, definately search "Body wave"

Yes, It possible i know for a fact you can do it, the only problem is that if you need to know how to do hair styles if you would like to show off your nice hair.

I recommemed that you get loose curls w/ nice bangs i have seen all types of girls at my cosmo school it looks real nice. Hey it's the look!!!

Go for it!!!

Usually loose curls are possible...it just means that the rollers put in your hair will be larger rather than tiny...Just talk to your stylist
