Nobody will ask to see your passport. Indeed, many of the people visiting Jersey don't have one! You will need proof of identity for flights and sea travel to the island. A driving licence should be fine.

You don't need a passport for Jersey, unless they have changed the rules in the last 10 months

Strictly speaking you don't need any documentation at all.

However in the current security situation the airline will need some form of identity. Check their website for details. Carrying your passport is the simplest solution.

Enjoy your trip. It's a beautiful island.

You definatley need your passport. The only reason you wouldnt is if you are flying there from the continental US. Or you are a US citizen. Since you are from the UK, YOU NEED A PASSPORT. Restrictions have been increased tremendously since 9/11. You most likely will be arriving in Chicago or Dallas Ft Worth. If this is the case you will need to get in the international line and have a passport. You wont need it again in Jersy. If you are flying straight there. You need a passport ready when you arrive.

As I understand it you need a passport to fly anywhere these days. Not surprising considering the crazy people about these days.
