Yes, that's sick. Don't worry my husband has always dealt with the same thing over his sister. My husbands mom had multiple sclerosis and my husband would take care of her from like age 15 up until she died because she would have these horrible spasms in her legs. His sister had the nerve to say to his mom while she was having one of her spasms "Don't think for one second that I am going to come over here and take care of you, I have a family of my own now". Then she left. They maintained contact though but she would walk around the house and point things out to her husband right in front of all of us and say "Oh I get this when my mom dies, I get this when she dies" Made us so mad. Well, now she's gone but she loved me more than her own daughter, so I felt good in knowing that I was like the daughter she always wanted.

Is she joking? My family has a weird sense of humor and would likely say something like that as a joke, but NEVER seriously.
As a matter of fact we have use it to convince my grandparents to do things/buy things they were being consevative about by saying, "Oh, yeah, better not spend my inheritance". BUT, we are just kidding and they know it.
If she is being serious, take her aside and nicely ask her to not talk that way in front of grandma. (That's just rude.)

Her mother never said this. This is just another one of your many lies. Her grandmother has told her which she has bought especially for your cousin. As for me I am not the one who covets. Unlike you who say that when you grandfather dies you will p*** on his grave. Is that disgusting or what?

I think it is disgusting but unfortunately it is very common these days. I have a cousin who does that to my grandparents all the time.
