Is there anyway to shut up drama queen's at all? It doesn't matter if they are happy, angry, sad, bored, whatever. They never shut up.

If only I knew my bosses niece who he adores is a drama queen like no other. A teenager that can make your hair stand on end. Her dad is a great friend and wonders why he is still single since he is a great person but no one can stand his spoiled daughter.

no.
not usually. Try to make them laugh or something, sometimes that works.
Other wise, you'll just have to knock the ***** out to get her to shut her mouth. Usually its a smart @ss mouth too.

From what I've seen, no, there isn't. The only way to not have to listen to them is to turn around and walk away until they're done with their tantrum.

tell them that their butt looks HUGE in those pants/skirt/what ever they're wearing.
at least it will change the subject
i don't know if there's anyway to shut them up.. so maybe you could just leave the room untill they calm down

Disengage immediately by walking away.
Come back only when they have calmed
down or stopped their nonsense.

However, if she has a legitimate gripe, you do the wrong thing by ignorning her and not validating her legitimate feelings.
