I know it's pronounced "Aus-stray-lia"
I am an Australian.

I was thinking one day how "ash tray" and "Australia" are a bit similar.

What are you trying to say? Are you insulting us? It sounds nothing like that. Os - tray - lia is how it's pronounced you drongo!
