being homeschooled, I have never been on a date or asked out, ect, especially because we moved around so much, i could never really get into anybody at my church. I am almost 16, and there is a guy who I do like, but I do not know if he likes me back. I beleive in hte guy making the first move, but what are some subtle ways of showing him that I'm interested without looking stupid? I've never done this before, please help!

try making eye contact.. if you make eye contact and he makes eye contact and you hold each others' gaze, it's a sign that there's some mutual interest.. and if it turns out that he wasn't really interested after all and asks "what are you looking at?" you could always cover by saying something like "I thought you had a bug in your hair" or something.. ;)

wel since u havent dated it would be a bit difficult but im sure u can overcome it.
you can make eye contact wenever u see him or smile at him often or just say hi...
and if he likes u... once u start talking to him he will talk back and im sure he would make the move...keep in mind that even though its nature for man to make the first move sometime a woman has to give him hints and u can do that by doing the few things mentioned above and many others...
p.s. im sure he is feeling the same way u are about u making the first move!

flirt a little bit and play hard to get most guys love that and play outside. (that might seem childish but im 17 an that were most of my begginings started) go play basketball with him...have you ever seen love and basketball.thats a sport you can play an also be flirty. Ask him what his type is in a gurl and then you tell him. then maybe you should say" hey im going to the movies or the beach later do you wanna come...if so here goes my number". Now you dont really have to be going to the movies or beach but you tell him that so you can give him your number. its a old trick.try it. Good luck.

be assertive is the best i can offer u, smile at him if u c him looking at u, this in itself shows he finds u attractive, ul b real nervous but if u can pluck up the courage go speak to him maybe invite him on a date, this may be going against ur belief the guy should make the first move but if u dont ask ul neva know, hope this helped and u get ur man lol

If the truth be known, the only reason you want a guy is because other girls your age have one. For Heaven's sake, show a little individuality and do things your way. There'll be plenty of time for that kinda stuff in the years to come...

Smile at him when you see him. Unless he's oblivious, he will eventually talk to you. Of course, in this day and age, it's reasonable for a girl to initiate a discussion, too. You couild just say "hi", and see how articulate he is. If he acts like an idiot, it doesn't necessarily mean he is one. Young men have been known to be stupified in the presence of an attractive young woman.

Just be yourself around him. Talk to him, be around him, and actually hold conversations with him. If you show interest in him then eventually he will get the point.
Guys are pretty simple usually, If a girl acts interested in us then we pick up on that pretty fast. Go bowling or something with friends and invite him to go along. Try to be around him often, and laugh at his jokes even if they aren't funny.
As long as you enjoy being around him he will pick up on it.

Try to strike up a light conversation the next time you see him. Keep it friendly in nature and try to make eye contact with him. You may even inquire about hobbies and try to find connections in that way. You seem like your really nervous- don't be! Just remember to be yourself! Good luck!

i am homeschooled and 16 and i would agree its a bit difficult to get a guy. but just wait it out untill college. supposedly its really easy to get dates then. lol i would show him you care by asking him more questions about him and showing that you care by showing intrest in the things he talks about.
