I did. As long as you have completed puberty it is ok.

think about it this way, if you were not supposed to be having sex then you would not have eggs coming out of your ovaries every month, back in the old days people got married at 13.

No it is not alright to be having sex at the age of 15!!! Before having sex, you should fully understand the repercussions of the act taking place. People get caught up in doing it just because people around them are doing it. Sex is not a fad and it is not something that you do because you think that it is "the cool" thing to do. Some people aren't ready to have sex when they are 18, 19, or even 20. The best time to have sex is when you completely know the person you are sleeping with and typically that is after marriage.

I think that 15 is a very young age to start having sex, however, 15 is the new 18 these days....if one should decide to start early I would just give the advice to of course use protection, also if you are a girl to make sure you get examined by and OB Dr. It is very important to start seeing one once you decide to have sex for multiple reasons....I would also suggest birth control! I know you can go to places like Planned Parenthood and things like that so that you do not have to use your parents insurance....places like that will help you! Just be honest with yourself and take the right measures that come along with having sex! Good Luck and be SAFE!

Legally, no. It would be considered statutory rape, since a 15-year-old is considered too young to really know if they are ready for sex, and too young to be capable of handling the possible consequences. Just as a 15-year-old is considered to young for the responsibility of driving a car or signing a legal contract.

Yes, there are some people who have sex at that age and even younger... but that doesn't mean it's a good idea, or that they don't regret it in the long run.

If you or anyone you know DOES consider having sex at this age, PLEASE talk it over with a trusted adult first, and insist on using both a condom and birth control. Please don't let anyone you know end up as a statistic for teenage pregnancy or STDs.

Not a good idea.

Guys at this age just want to get the first time over with and they are not necessarily interested in a real relationship -- not that they know how to be in one anyway. Girls usually have no clue about relationships either at this age. Also, sex is as much emotional/spiritual as it is physical, meaning literally that the guy is "giving" you stuff and you just have to take it. Females are incapable of "giving" in this regard. So while the guy having sex at 15 might be unaffected emotionally/spiritually, the girl will be affected. Having to deal with these kinds of feelings is too much for a 15 year old.

Of course some people would have sex at 15 but it's just not a good idea.

I think the age depends on the person. I started having sex at 13 and to katydint, yes I think it was the right choice for me and I've never regretted having sex early so you can no longer say you don't know of anyone who said it was a good choice.

I did, and I got pregnant. Now I have a 10 year old daughter and I am 27. I was 16 when she was born, and I love her more than life, but it makes life very complicated when you are so young. If you do choose to have sex, make sure you educate yourself on safe sex and get put on birth control. Most states have public heath departments where you can go see a Dr. without your parents consent. Be safe!

It's not okay before you've experienced the maturity that comes from living on your own, not being supported by your parents. You know, 'grown up'.
Doing it too early doesn't do anything for you, it detracts from you, on more than one level. Has anybody who's had sex young, years later, ever said it was a good or wise choice? Not.

I did at 16 and of course now I realize I wasn't ready and made a huge mistake. You shouldn't have sex unless you feel comfortable and are completely ready. I wasn't comfortable having a sexual relationship until I was 19. Always consider the diseases going around and think about what's best for YOU!

I did, however i was in love with that person and had been with them for a long time. I don't think you should if you're not in love. You should also be mature enough to handle the consciouses like diseases or pregnancy. A lot of people that have sex at that age do regret it. Make sure you dont.
