Her hair comes straight down believe it or not- then swept to the side- Your widows peak should not interfere. However- do not ever shave the widows peak- It could come back in like a cowlick.
As soon as you get out of the shower- dry your bangs straight down- and then flat iron them off to the side a bit- after- take a styling paste like Rusk Undressed to give it shine and control... They will make you crazy being in your eyes! haha. But do not shave that widows peak. If you wear your hair back constantly- maybe try waxing it? But never shave it- and i dont even reccomend waxing- the follicles will relax and God only knows the direction it will grow back in... You could seriosously screw up your hair line.

You're beautiful as you are. I don't know why you would do anything to your hair like shaving off a widow's peak! I mean how would you go about doing something like that anyway! you'd never be able to get it just the way you want it. Anyway, I agree with one of your last answerer's. . . gel, mousse, hairspray and finger style it. you could use your bangs to cover up anything you don't want showing. and you could take the pics, like she suggested to your stylist and see where you can go from there. I think that's Janet Jackson, in the first pic, right? She has a widows peak and her hair is even darker than yours. So you know hers is more noticeable, that's probably why she has her hair that way. . . Peace-Love-Chicken Grease

I think your widows peak makes you unique. I love it. Don't hide it! And DEFINITELY don't shave it off, that would be VERY stupid. Take a couple pictures of the bangs you like, and a few that you DO NOT like to your stylist. Make sure you show her your photos, and point out the things you love and those you don't so she'll know exactly what you're going for. Tell her how much time you have to style it in the morning, and your concerns for "hiding" your widows peak. She should be able to come up with a solution for you and you can go from there! Here a few more pictures of "swing" or "side swept" bangs.

What's wrong with a widow's peak? Lots of people have them. You'll have to use some mousse and probably gel, and finger-style your bangs to get them to hang that way. DON"T shave it! Ever heard of a 5 o'clock shadow? Bad idea!

I have a widow's peak as well....but let me just say that yours looks like a baby compared to mine i have a huge widows peak....i have the same bangs as nicole richie.....put parted the oppisite direction.....they look great and hide my peak.....i recommend finding a good hair dresser and having he/she cut them how you want them....then everytime you wash your hair take a roller brush and dry your bangs the desired way...after a while they will become trained and they will just naturally fall that way! BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DONT SHAVE YOUR WIDOW'S PEAK!!! they are a sign of true beauty and not everyone is blessed to have one!!

In the picture where you have bangs, you can't even tell you have it.
Your widow's peak is adorable and is obviously easy to hide under bangs, so definitely do NOT shave it. Now THAT will look bad.

Do not shave off your widows peek, I seriously did it probably 12 years ago and it still isn't the same. When it grows back it sticks straight out! As far as the bangs I don't know how you can get them but they are super cute!

Marilyn Monroe plucked her hair to make it look like she HAD a widow's peak.
Talk to your stylist about ways to possibly minimize it without doing something drastic.
