It means you need to talk to a doctor or a trusted adult. You should be happy with life. You only have one. Life is what you make it. If you're not happy, you need to find someone to help so you can enjoy life to the fullest.

Your parents have a good point about the ways your environment can contribute to feeling depressed, and before someone gives you advice like, "if you're suicidal see a psychyiatrist now because you could have a chemical imbalance," you might want to think about this:
You use a monomer like Sisyphus, who in Greek mythology was punished by the Gods and had to keep rolling a stone up a hill only to get to the top when it would invariably fall down again. Sisyphus does not give up, and you might call this a form of tragedy but there's two ways to look at it. The tragic pessimist will conclude his life might as well be finished and done because he will never get what he wants. However, the tragic optimist looks at his situation and accepts the things that can't be changed. What matters in life is not ultimately reaching that final goal (the way our goal-oriented society teaches you) but is more in the having lived to know the limits, boundaries, tragedies, and even the evils of the human condition. Knowing the things that make life less a heaven on earth is not the "reason" to stop trying to roll the stone up the hill.
One thing the Greek tragedies taught me was that fate often comes with foreshadowing. If you think your living conditions might be contributing to feelings of depression, you need to have the courage to change the things you can change, and I doubt that requires living in Heaven. Heaven can wait. You can learn how to be the tragic optimist.

A lot of people crave heaven. Who doesn't, really (save for atheists)? All it means is that you've identified that this world has a lot of goodness, truth and beauty work to do, only it escapes you that you must be a part of helping good overcome whatever evils there are. Every man, woman and child contributes to the goodness, beauty and truth in the world... or not. What does that say to your heart? Would you abandon the need of the world for all of us to do our best to make this a great place for your own selfish need? Of course not. So, while you're doing some wishful thinking, why not change channels and come up with some good things to do today?

The world is not evil. There are evil people in it, but most people are just good people trying to make their own way. You have plenty of time to get to Heaven. Why not try and figure out what God wanted you to accomplish here on earth with your life instead of running away from the job...

Even the most committed people to their religion experience depression and anxiety - from one time to another. *What is this telling you?
You are human - that's all.
: ) *What can one do to alleviate anxiety and depression?
Three Suggestions:
1) Meditate daily: the practice of Mindfulness Meditation always helps much to elleviate depression and anxiety. *There is an excellent book out called: "The Mindful Way through Depression" by: Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD.
"The Mindful Way through Depression" is recommended by doctors, psychologists, and ministers who exercise compassion for others. *This book will help you immensely with your depression and anxiety.
2) Exercising an Hr a day - will also help much: but
start with a half hr a day: walking, biking, swimming,
any form of aerobic exercise which you enjoy. The key is to exercise, even when you don't 'feel' like exercising. It releases those feel good-happy endorphines which will help alleviate your anxiety and depression.
3) Take liquid Sublingual Vitamin B-6, B-12 and Folic Acid - all combined together, when a possible onset of depression arises. Pick it up at Target-$6.95. *One bottle lasts approximately a month, sometimes longer. It can be taken up to 3 times a day. *It really works wonders - to combat stress, anxiety, and depression. *Ginko Biloba also helps much for anxiety: and it improves concentration and memory as well.

I agree with you the social structure of our society is falling apart morally if you have children make sure they go to a morally correct private school so they don't get caught up in the dishonest corruption of our society. Also the best thing I can suggest is to be very careful with who you associate with and you will be fine. Cheers

This simply means, that those who love their life (here) their life will be taken (there) and those who don't love their life (here) will be given new life (there)
Basically you are not happy in this life, this life is evil, we're surrounded by it everyday. Suffering through this life however is important to the blessings you will have (there) and you should just try as hard as you can to study, metabolize what you learn and live out the Christian way of life as best you can until he comes for you. I believe that he will bless you along the way and you will find it easier to live the Christian life the more you focus on that rather than the evil that surrounds you.

The Bible says that Abraham sought for a city who's builder and maker was God.
This is what you feel. You are a pilgrim passing through on a journey, you feel the tug of God at your soul, He's calling you. I feel this daily. This is a beautiful picture.
Be patient friend. Time goes by quick.
Live in obedience to the scriptures. You have an eternity to live for, to wait for.
Blessings.

I agree with Hinds feet. We all have a job to do here first, lets do it and move on. When the time comes to go at least you won't be hung up on the things of this world. It is only God who should determine when you get to do that. Just concentrate on spreading as much love as you can in the time that you have.
Blessings!!

It means the religious people have got to you. You are a blissfully opiated mind ripe for the influence of the Heaven's gate cult, or a matyrdom promoting cleric.
Heaven is unlikely to exist, and is a lie told to the underclasses so they dont rebel against their poor work conditions, and if you wait long enough your going to die anyhow.
life is all we have, It sucks sometimes, sometimes it's awsome, but most of the time it's just boring.
