Well that's easy. The entire passage of 1st Corinthians 13, verses 1-13, perfectly applies to this desperate situation, parts of which I have pasted here from The Message translation:
Love never gives up.
LOVE CARES MORE FOR OTHERS THAN FOR SELF.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,
ISN'T ALWAYS "ME FIRST."
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
PUTS UP WITH ANYTHING,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
Hope that helps. The old lady doesn't have the same abilities she had when she was your age,so she needs to drive slower, but isn't it great that she can still get around by herself and be independent for as long as possible? Maybe we could all be a little more patient with her.

I've never seen a poodle drive, let alone 7 mph... the old lady should be driving... or is this another failure at sentence structure?
Anybody know how a police officer handles a poodle driving too slow in a 35 mph zone? Or do you hold the "old lady" responsible?

This is simple - why didn't anyone mention either of these verses?
Rom 13:1
Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
Heb 13:17
Obey your leaders, and submit to them; for they keep watch over your souls, as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
These verses include, of course, traffic laws.

The whole book Judges covers situations just like these. I believe the appropriate thing to do according to Judges is to cut her head off and impale it on a spike at the front of your car. That's what they did to their enemies in Judges. So live by the bible, baby. Decapitate somebody.

The ones that tell you to have patience besides even you will be old and decrepit one day and remember what goes around comes around. There is also the commandment from Jesus that says: Love one another. How would you treat that person if it were your own mother? A honest answer should tell you a lot about yourself.

Pass in the oncoming traffic lane, if another car starts coming at you head-on you should run the old hag off the road.
