you are cutting down into the quick....stop cutting your nails so short and you won't have that soreness....also, there is nothing to help it except letting your nails grow back.

Put a dab of Neosporin on the sore spot, twice a day for two days.

Neosporian , Don't cut them that short . that can cause an infection and also ingrown nails.
