Can I make a payment with a check? I prefer not to use my debit card. Someone has been using my card number to pay their bill. So I canceled my card. But I can pay by check or mail in a money order. I can find NO phone number to call anyone. Where do these people hide anyway?

I'm not sure who you are trying to pay. Is this an account you have set up to automatically pay thru your debit card? You will have to contact them to stop that. Do they have a website that will allow you to change your payment method?
You should be able to write a check and mail it. A check would be preferable to a money order.
