I notice that most of the dreams that i can remember are in fact vivid ones where i'm able to describe colours of objects, the people present in my dreams etc. Then if i am interested in its interpretation I will quickly write the dream down in my dream diary.

What does it mean if you are able to have such vivid dreams? Someone said that vivid dreams can be linked to astral projection and wrote:
" I get the feeling that you may have been astral traveling/projecting during your dream"

I am breifely famair with the concept of astral traveling/projection and also believe it can be true - do you think that I was astral projecting and if so what does it tell me?

Vivid dreams? You are blessed.

Vivid dream means your subconscious desperately wants to tell you things - you have been given the opportunity to use your dreams to help you in your life. Dreams act as guidance to understanding our psyche. Dreams give us insight to our past/ present/ future, and vividness in dreams is a wonderful thing. Some people only experience the vividness at a time when they need to look at their dreams, and some of us always dream vividly.

Astral travel and projection is not caused by vivid dreams or vice-a-versa. Astral projection is different, but if you have the ability to remember your dreams like you describe, astral projection may well be an ability you are able to master. Astral projection is an out of body experience - the native Americans believe that whenever you dream, you do in fact travel on the astral plane... but i am not entirely sure about that (however discovering unusual bruises on my body after having vivid dreams - and my partner says i hardly move during sleep - does support that idea after all!)...

Vivid dreams, because of their connection with the psyche, are said to show the dreamer that they have "heightened" psychic powers, and maybe... maybe not.

I don't think it's something to concern yourself with. It really is a blessing.

If you want to do more on dream interpretation, read some of Freud's and Jung's works. Bypass the overt sexual issues, and there are some interesting points.

Remember to describe people in terms of characteristics and describe how you felt. Also remember symbolism is different for each person. For me falling is a beautiful thing. Falling always saves me. For me water is almost always bad.

Dream diaries are great, and monitor your reoccurring dreams. Each time you have them gives you the opportunity to change them and "solve" them.

The dream world is pretty vivid in general, I think....I don't think that you are necessarily projecting if your dreams are vivid, but I do think that the more important the message is to you, the more likely you will remember it....
