The majority of the world would be like the middle eastern Jews except morphed starting from the day Jesus would have been born, and the Muslims Koran would be different, all history with reference to Jesus would be different. People might still be sacrificing animals to atone for their sins, art would still be prohibited, and many other things.
The population of people concentrated in the middle east have migrated and mingled since then. The religions existing at that time would also morph with the changing civilizations and times.
But our world, would not be such a great place today if Jesus had not come, put an end to the Lucifer Rebellion, and changed the call of the age to one of Peace. Jesus' influence on the world set off a revolution unique in and of itself. His teachings set people free from all enslaving dogmas and creeds. Even though some sects insist on dogma and creeds, Jesus never did.
His liberating teaching of love and peace - that God is your loving Heavenly Father has never been paralleled. All those peoples of the last 2000 plus years who have been affected by Jesus' teachings would have been affected by other existent religions and philosophies instead.
Without it, our world might have gone deeper into "darkness"... and reverted to more savagery.
Who can really say just how many people were affected by the matchless teachings of the Master?
Also, the Spirit of Truth would not have been poured out over all the earth. The day of Pentecost would not have come.

The Buddha taught all those things long before the times of any supposed Jesus. Hindu Scriptures much older than the Buddhas teachings go along the same lines. There is not any solid evidence that a historical religious Jesus ever even existed, historians like Josephus were born after Jesus' supposed death. If a historical Jesus did exist, he would be quite different than contemporary visions, as the church has changed and butchered the religion many times throughout its history to gain converts.

False. There was no moral teaching that Jesus gave that did not predate him in other cultures- India and China for instance. The only reason you would make the claim that Jesus was the first one to teach these things is because of your cultural brainwashing and ignorance of history.
Emperor Constantine adopted Jesus as his War God and set Christianity as the official religion of the roman empire. Without Jesus, the biggest change would be that Rome would not have adopted Christianity. For some reason people find religious claims more believable if they spring out of a country far far away in a time long long ago. So maybe Rome would have rejected it's pantheon of gods and invented science. It is possible that without Jesus, they may have invented the computer hundreds of years ago. Or perhaps Islam would have taken over the world and there would be no modern technology at all. Who knows. But Jesus did NOT invent those teachings by any means.

The Romans at the time were dissatisfied with their "gods" as they realized they were nothing but Greek gods with different names. The Romans were attracted to the idea of a single God and were slowly embracing Judaism. However, the circumcision, dietary laws and other restrictions were a bit of turn off. If given enough time, the Roman Empire probably would have embraced the idea of one God, even without Jesus coming along. Where his "effectiveness" came in was with Paul, who basically threw out all the things that made the Romans a bit reluctant to join. I can see his sales pitch:
"Don't want a circumcision? NO PROBLEM. Join my new faith and you can believe in ONE GOD and not have to get circumcised."
"Don't want to give up your pork ribs? NO PROBLEM. Join my new faith and you can eat all the pork (and crabs and lobster) your want."
"Don't want to give up your favorite minor god? NO PROBLEM. We shall just rename them all, call the saints and you can keep praying to them."
etc. Paul simple did what it took to sell his new faith. But the sale had pretty well already been made, he just closed the deal.

I totally agree with sallyjane3400. I would not want to even imagine what this world would be like without Jesus Christ, but I do know that we would have nothing to live for and the world would be doomed for eternity in Hell.

Good question. Someone should write an altarnative-history book about it.
There would have been no monasteries, so classical culture might not have been preserved through the dark ages when the barbarian tribes overran the Roman empire. So we might be still running around in skins and living in mud huts. No Renaissance, no science, no atomic bombs, no global warming...
So it would have had mixed results. Maybe Buddhism would have eventually reached the West and it would have become civilized that way. Or maybe we would all be Muslims.

People loved one another before Jesus, the notion of loving one's enemies is much older than Jesus, and Good Samaritans existed long before Samaria.
Please. Learn some history.

He died for the sins of ALL humanity. Therefore without Jesus Christ We would be doomed to hell for all eternity. As we could never have been redeemed from sin.

All those things where taught by many cultures, or religions long before the time of Christ. Do you think before Christ the world was in shambles and everyone was raping and killing and stealing? The compassion for other humans is imprinted in our DNA, and has nothing to do with your sky daddy...
